Description

You will love this....it really is a stunning handcrafted carved rug. The design is hand needled and hand carved, and as you can see from the photos, the rug has an embossed elegance. Made from 100% virgin wool, it is really soft and durable. It is 9/16 high, and a nice weight rug. (The tag says the Pile weighs 88 oz. per sq. yd. if you can relate to that.) We have a pet-free smoke-free home, and the rug looks just like it did the day we bought it. It is durable with subtle shading and tones, and the colors go with almost any decor. The backing adds stability, and keeps the rug from moving, stretching or warping. Seriously, you have to see it to appreciate it.
